Fishing in San Carlos on the Riviera Sea of Cortes is excellent.

During summer months, as the water temperatures rise, the exotic big game species are present, including Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado (mahi-mahi) and Tuna. With deep water only a few miles off shore, even small boats can attempt to land the Big Ones.

From late fall into spring, there is excellent bottom fishing in and around the many islands and points in the area. Target species include Red Snapper, Sea Trout, Yellowtail and Sea Bass.

Summer Season 2011 runs from May 2011 through October 2011.

Fall Season 2011-2012 runs from November 2011 through April 2012.

The charter boats are fairly well equipped but if you are a serious fisherman and the cost is reasonable for a full or half-day of fishing.

Four Nights/3 Days Fishing package includes:

Accommodations, all the meals, grand transportation to and from Guaymas or Hermosillo Air Port to Hotel/Fishing areas, Fishing license, All bait and tackle, soft drinks, beer, water, and domestic liquor. Price does not include.Air transportation, imported liquor (however you can bring your own) and gratuities. Groups of 4 persons minimum 50% up front and the other 50% upon arrival.

Standard Package: 2 to 3 Star Hotel accommodations, will be fishing on "Reelaxation" a 1976 33 ft. Chris Craft. up to 8 people.

V.I.P. Package: 4 to 5 Star Hotel accommodations, will be fishing on "A Slice of Heaven" or "Nirvana" 1989 46 ft. Ocean Yatchs up to 15 people.

Pricing Varies from $500 to $1000 per day, per person depending on the package being booked, number of people in the group, and activities planned.
